The Study Now Scholarships is a prominent merit-based scholarship programme intended to give outstanding students from Ghana and Nigeria the chance to attend some of the top UK universities for their undergraduate and postgraduate studies. We are providing a number of scholarships for the September 2025 intake to help you build your future in one of the most sought-after educational destinations in the world, and an opportunity to be among the esteemed Study Now Ambassadors.
Scholarship Awards Available:
- Up to 100% scholarship for undergraduate and foundation students (Year 1).
- Up to 50% scholarship for postgraduate students (excluding MRes programs)
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Study Now Scholarships, you must meet the following requirements:
Eligible Courses:
- Undergraduate (UG): Courses eligible for a Year 1 undergraduate scholarship.
- Postgraduate (PG): Any postgraduate degree (excluding Masters by Research - MRes).
Eligible Applicants:
- Nationalities: Applicants must be from Nigeria or Ghana.
- Undergraduate Students:
- No lower than a B in WAEC (or equivalent) for foundation courses.
- WAEC with A-Levels or IB qualifications for Year 1 Undergraduate students.
- WAEC with no lower than a B+ combined with 1-year HND or 1st-year bachelor’s for Year 1 UG.
- Postgraduate Students: Must hold a Second Upper Division (2:1) or above in their undergraduate studies.
Important Notes:
- Applicants should be able to fund their living expenses and other financial obligations (e.g., tuition fees for Year 2 & 3 of UG courses).
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to meet UKVI financial & visa requirements, fund their living expenses and remainder of the tuition fee.
- No application fee is required to apply.
Application Process
Follow these steps to apply for the Study Now Scholarships 2025:
STEP 1:
- Prepare your documents: Academic transcripts, certificates, and other academic records
- Application form submission.
- Initial screening & shortlisting exercise by the shortlisting committee.
STEP 2:
- Video screening (one-way interview) of shortlisted candidates and a text-based question discussing extracurricular activities.
STEP 3:
- Final evaluation.
- Selected scholars would be announced at the Study Now Fairs in Nigeria & Ghana.

- Scholarship Announcement: Applicants will be notified of their scholarship results at Study Now Fairs in Nigeria and Ghana.
