While studying marketing and media communications at BNU, you will cover diverse subject areas, including consumer behavior, strategic marketing, responsible enterprise, and ethical research. Studying such varied topics will help you understand how marketing impacts global businesses. You’ll also develop key skills, such as understanding financial decision-making, attention to detail, and analytical thinking, ensuring you are well-placed to enter the employment market.
We are focused on providing you with all the building blocks you need to create a solid understanding of the business environment. Your first year will be integrated with the BA (Hons) Marketing course. You will be taught various modules covering both courses, allowing you to collaborate with fellows.
During your second year, you will have a client video production module. You will work on live project briefs from business clients, pitching and presenting ideas. This will help you to develop a technical and creative understanding of film and TV production. You’ll be able to choose optional modules that include consumer behavior, learning to profile the end consumer to gain customer insights, and data analytics for business decisions, where you will examine how data analytics can be used to inform audience communications across marketing.
