Our BNurs (Hons) Adult Nursing degree adopts a person-centered approach to enable you to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to provide safe and effective nursing care.
The BNurs (Hons) in Adult Nursing will enable you, if successful, to apply to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) to practice as a registered adult nurse in a range of diverse health and social care settings.
As an adult nursing student, the experience you gain will allow you to pursue a range of pathways. In addition, you will also have exposure to patients from other nursing areas, including mental health and learning disability, as well as children’s nursing. The opportunities you will have coming into nursing are vast: working clinically, becoming a manager, working in a research environment, working abroad, and in education.
