Finding qualified security experts is a problem industry that the government takes seriously. Our MSc Cyber Security aligns with international information security management systems standards, ensuring you’ll graduate with all the relevant skills and expertise to work as a cyber security professional.

You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of current information security and cyber security issues. We’ll train you in the techniques you need for strategic IT management. You’ll learn to assess networks and systems as a resource and to analyze and control security risks. When you graduate, you’ll be highly sought after by small and medium-sized enterprises, which have a massive demand for people with the skills and knowledge to protect their businesses from imminent threats.

Please note that there is an intake to the 12-month full-time route each September and the 16-month full-time route each January. The 16-month full-time route includes the UK summer break between semesters. The part-time route takes 2-3 years to complete and typically has intakes in September and January.
