Anti-Slavery Policy Statement

share this page:

INTRODUCTION

At Study Now, we are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our operations. We uphold ethical business practices and expect the same high standards from our employees, partners, and stakeholders.

This Modern (Anti) Slavery Policy and Statement is intended for businesses in all countries, especially the United Kingdom.

RESPONSIBILITY OF THE POLICY

Study Now is an education recruitment agency that connects students with academic opportunities. While we do not have traditional supply chains, we work with universities, educational institutions, and service providers. We ensure that all our partnerships align with our ethical standards and commitment to combat modern slavery.

To uphold this commitment, we:

  • Maintain strict policies against modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Conduct due diligence in our employment and recruitment processes.
  • Assess risks related to modern slavery and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of our anti-slavery initiatives through key performance indicators (KPIs).

COMPLIANCE WITH THE POLICY

All employees, contractors, and stakeholders are expected to comply with this policy. Study Now ensures compliance through:

  • Regular internal audits and risk assessments.
  • Transparent recruitment practices to prevent forced labor and trafficking.
  • Clear reporting mechanisms for any suspected instances of modern slavery.

COMMUNICATION AND AWARENESS

To ensure awareness and understanding of modern slavery risks, Study Now provides:

  • Training programs for employees to recognize and report modern slavery concerns.
  • Ongoing engagement with employees and partners on ethical business practices.
  • An open communication culture where concerns can be raised without fear of retaliation.

BREACHES OF THIS POLICY

Any breaches of this policy will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, termination of contracts, or legal proceedings where necessary. We encourage all employees and stakeholders to report any concerns confidentially through our internal reporting channels.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Study Now is committed to regularly reviewing and improving our policies and practices to combat modern slavery. We remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and addressing risks in our operations.

This policy is in line with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and is reviewed annually to ensure continued compliance.

For any concerns or inquiries related to this policy, please contact us at info@studynow.org.uk
